About Fly Yellowstone

Originally from Chicago, IL, Jeff has called West Yellowstone his home for the past 12 years. He has a strong passion for aviation from nearly two decades in the aviation industry. Jeff has accomplished his Certified Flight Instructor rating as well as his Multi-Engine and Single Engine Commercial pilot's license. He enjoys long snowy winters for snowmobiling and snowboarding with his family.

Born and raised in the rugged mining town of Butte, Montana, Wesley Dowling’s story is rooted in adventure, resilience, and a deep love for the American West. As a boy, he spent his days riding through historic Butte, hiking the Highlands and East Ridge mountains, and fishing the crystal waters of Georgetown Lake alongside his Grandma Edie and Grandpa Wes. Experiences that shaped his connection to the land he now proudly shares with others. Wesley went on to serve his country as an airborne soldier in U.S. Army Special Operations, with deployments spanning Korea, Panama, and Africa. That same discipline, leadership, and calm-under-pressure approach carried into his entrepreneurial career, where he successfully built and operated multiple businesses within the mining industry of northeast Wyoming. For the past 28 years, Wesley and his wife, DelAnn, have built a life centered on faith, family, hard work, and adventure, raising their two sons, Tristan and Trevan. Some of Wesley’s most meaningful memories come from summers spent in Tanzania with his family, helping drill water wells at hospitals, orphanages, and communities near the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Today, as a pilot for Fly Yellowstone, Wesley combines a lifetime of experience, storytelling, and passion for the outdoors to create unforgettable aerial adventures. Whether soaring over Yellowstone, Montana’s mountain ranges, or the wild landscapes of Wyoming and Idaho, Wesley is honored to share the beauty, history, and spirit of the region he proudly calls home.
